When refurbishing their high street travel stores, Kuoni wanted a very efficient and flexible lighting system.
Edge Lighting were able to provide adjustable spotlights with outputs up to 4500 lumens, equipped with DALI dimmable control gear. Using these luminaires they can light certain areas up to 2000 lux and reduce other areas to arround 600 lux. If the store layout changes then the lighting can be adjusted accordingly using benefits of the DALI system.
The adjustable spotlights provided were from the Cirteq and Gimteq ranges, finished in white or black depending on the individual design of the store. Edge Lighting worked closely with HLA services who were the project managers and installing contractor to achieve the effect the client wanted, carrying out lighting calculations and visualisations for each individual store.
