Waitrose had decided the time was right to go all LED.
This project featured one of our most sought after products on the market, the Triteq, which fits all conventional 600 square grid ceilings and has targeted light spread in both axial and transverse directions. Being one of the first stores to benefit from LED light sources, we were able to achieve their targeted low energy consumption whilst retaining good light levels.
Carbon footprint always being at the forefront of our ambitions, the result was a drop from an already efficient 17w/m2 down to 12w/m2.
The next target is to get to 10w/m2 which should be achievable later this year.
