Edge Lighting delivered a full-scale LED lighting upgrade for JLP Kingston—a 400,000+ sq ft transformation spanning sales and back-of-house areas. Partnering with Paul Earl Ltd, the project involved replacing obsolete non-LED fittings with bespoke solutions. With careful attention to design, installation ease, and environmental performance, the result was seamless and fully aligned with John Lewis’s wider sustainability goals.

Our role was to develop and deliver a lighting strategy that upgraded the store to LED, aligned with sustainability targets, and integrated cleanly with the existing layout—avoiding any costly ceiling works.

Set within the slatted ceiling baffles, our Linteq 100 reinforces the ordered rhythm of the space while staying visually unobtrusive. Its seamless, low-glare illumination enhances product visibility and supports a calm, considered retail environment—bringing clarity and cohesion to the mattress showroom floor.

Installed as part of a focused retrofit at John Lewis Kingston, our linear solution integrates cleanly into the existing ceiling grid—modernising the lighting without disrupting the store’s architecture. Its crisp, uniform output brings renewed clarity to circulation zones and display thresholds, subtly elevating the customer journey.

TILTEQ 190

Located in the home accessories area at John Lewis Kingston, our Tilteq 190 delivers precise, adjustable illumination that enhances both wall-mounted artwork and display zones. Recessed into the ceiling grid, each fitting offers full tilt and 360° rotation—delivering focused, gallery-style lighting to a dynamic retail setting while remaining discreet within the tile layout.
