As part of the refurbishment, the lighting was updated to suit a revised internal layout and improve consistency throughout the store. The scheme supports queuing, ordering, food preparation, and dining, performing reliably during busy trading periods without overwhelming the interior.

Edge Lighting delivered a complete lighting package in close coordination with MM Shopfitting & Joinery. This ensured the lighting aligned closely with ceiling details, joinery elements, and brand features, allowing it to sit naturally within the fit-out rather than feeling added on.

The brief focused on delivering even light levels with low glare, balancing brightness across sales, circulation, and queuing areas, while allowing seating zones to remain comfortable without a drop in clarity.

• General lighting is provided by a coordinated grid of Ledteq recessed downlights, delivering consistent illumination across circulation routes, queuing areas, and seating zones. Light levels were set to maintain a bright, clean character without over-lighting the space.

• Tilteq 190 adjustable spotlights are used selectively to highlight chilled display runs, menu boards, and key brand graphics. This focused lighting improves visibility to products and information, helping customers read the offer quickly and confidently.

• Tron recessed linear lighting is incorporated within the wall detailing, introducing a subtle horizontal rhythm across key elevations. These linear elements add depth and structure to the interior, reinforcing brand features and helping define different areas without drawing focus away from the food counters.
